Urgent Care
Urgent care and family medical care for visitors of the Outer Banks.

Examples: Sore throat, bronchitis, sunburn, UTI, sinusitis, ear infection, sprains, ear lavage, influenza, jellyfish sting.

Examples: Heat stroke, non-cardiac chest pain, mild/moderate allergic reactions, headache, asthma, prescription-refill, high blood pressure, diabetes, stingray injuries, poison ivy.

Complicated/ New Illness/Prolonged visit
Examples: Fish hook removal, suturing, foreign body removal, pre/post hospital care, unstable vital signs, diabetes complications, heart failure, COPD, IV fluids, complex procedures Time > 30 minutes.
Urinalysis, Rapid Strep test, and Rapid Flu A and B will each incur a $25 charge in addition to the visit fee.

Longterm Care
Family medical care for residents and frequent visitors of the Outer Banks.

Complete medical history and physical examination. Medical conditions, depression, anxiety, social history.
Applies to any existing patient not seen for 3 years or more*

Simple Complexity
Examples: Med-refill, Lab, EKG, and imaging review, UTI, tennis elbow.

Advanced Complexity
Examples: Annual Physical, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, complicated GI problems, thyroid conditions, Type 1/Type 2 diabetes, oncology management in consultation with a cancer specialist, hypertension/high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia/high cholesterol, multiple medication reviews.
